Rugs from Atlas Mountains

Rugs are central to life in Morocco. People sit, eat, and sleep on them. People meet friends, play with children, fall in love, on rugs. Moroccan rugs are like books, woven with emotions, memories, desires, and secrets. Each has a personal story to tell. Each is as unique as its weaver. Every rug tells a story about its origins, its weaver, its meanings. Hand-made of pure wool, with traditional techniques, each of our Berber rugs is specific to an area and a tribe whether it is the desert, the oases, the coast or the Atlas Mountains. A rug from Fez has a different story to a rug from the Sahara. Our rugs may be vintage or modern. Some come from NGO’s working to improve the lot of women in the Atlas Mountains. Others come from weavers who have inherited family traditions that date back centuries.

Our collection is the fruit of numerous journeys in Morocco, to understand the country and its great tradition of rug-making. And to bring life and sun, flair and beauty, to your interiors.
